"Cat People" was written by Paul Schrader, who also wrote many other movies such as "Taxi Driver", "American Gigilo", "Raging Bull" and recently "Forever Mine". The movie was actually an erotic re-make of a 1942 film and featured great nude scenes of Nastassia Kinski and Annette O'Toole as well as a couple of relative unknowns.
