Summer
was born in Winter Park, Florida in 1978. She is the fifth and
final child of Arlyn and John Phoenix (a carpenter) and grew
up mainly in Southern California. She later moved back to Central
Florida as a teenager, where she is an active supporter of numerous
charities, mainly concerning the environment. As is obvious from
her last name, she is the sister of the very talented acting
family of the late River Phoenix, Joaquin Phoenix, Rain Phoenix
and Liberty Phoenix. So far in her acting career, she has about
a dozen and a half movies to her credit, pretty much all smaller
independent productions. She has two nude appearances so far,
"Esther Kahn" and "The Believer". |
