The tall
(5'10") Monica was born in 1968 in the Italian village of
Citta di Castello, Umbria. While attending the University of
Perugia, she modeled on the side to earn money for school, which
led her to a modeling career. In 1988, she moved to one of Europe's
fashion centers, Milan, and joined Elite Model Management. Although
enjoying great success as a model, she made her acting debut
on TV in 1990. Her American film debut in 1992's Bram Stoker's
Dracula (1992) (there was a little nudity there) and since then
she has appeared in both Italian and American movies. Notable
appearances with nudity are in "Astérix & Obélix:
Mission Cléopâtre", "Irreversible"
(which included an uninterrupted nine minute rape scene and another
extended nude scene), "The Brotherhood of the Wolf",
"Malèna", "Under Suspicion" (a very
brief scene) and " La Riffa". |
